Technical Mentor Registration

The sooner you register, the more you can help the teams! Mentor registrations will be accepted through Jan. 15, 2025.
  • Technical mentors are space professionals who voluntarily assist in teaching the teams about orbit planning, satellite design, and launch operations. 
  • The registration form at the bottom of this page should be completed by any individual wanting to be a technical mentor. 
  • All technical mentors must register for the current competition season, regardless of participation in a previous season. Mentor registrations do NOT carry over from past seasons. 
    • There is no minimum time commitment. The technical mentor and team director can decide on a schedule that works best for them.
    • This is no limit to the number of teams a mentor can support.​
    • Background checks (provided free of charge by People Facts) are required. Background checks are valid for 2 seasons of competition.
